MJK College Bettiah was established in 1955, in the name of Bettiah Mahavidyalya. M.J.K. COLLEGE is a constituent unit of B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. MJK college is situated in the heart of Bettiah town (West Champaran), in Bihar. Maharani Janki Kunwar college is name of Late Maharani Janki Kunwar of Bettiah Raj. M.J.K. College is one of the oldest college in North Bihar. The green ambience of the college develops bond with Nature and Sparkle of Knowledge.  There is a team of 50 qualified faculty members, 18 of them having Doctorate Degree. There are about 30 numbers of non-teaching staff and a devoted team leader – The Principal. The team is always ready to help students in exploring the windows of knowledge and make them establish in society. The team is committed to provide quality education to the masses and inculcate leadership quality among the students. The team is keen to transform skill and knowledge congruent to the jobs in the society.

This college is in the process of building a word-class intellectual community of distinguished and dedicated faculty, who will promote learning and knowledge building of a very high order.
